Presidents' Corner Brothers
and Sisters,I am writing to update you on the latest regarding the “suitability determinations” that are being conducted against our members. As of now and thanks in large part to MD State Delegate and Senior Advisor to Steny Hoyer, Mr. John Bohanan, we have finally been able to meet with high ranking officials at NAVAIR to discuss our issues and concerns regarding this process. As a result of this meeting, it appears as if NAVAIR is now willing to revisit and address their policies regarding these determinations. In fact, it looks like there will be some significant changes to it. We are actively working with the NAVAIR folks by providing feedback as well as suggestions in order to ensure that our members are treated fairly and compassionately, are provided a due process, as well as an appeal provision during these types of proceedings.........Read More>>>> |
