We at Local Lodge 4 would like to invite you to join us… to make your workplace better and empower you and you’re co-workers on the job.
That’s right! You have the right to a voice, as well as dignity and respect in your workplace and it is our mission through united action to secure these rights to all who join our ranks.
In addition, we can help you negotiate for higher wages and better benefits. It’s a fact that union employees earn 30 percent more than non-union employees (U.S. Department of Labor/ Bureau of Labor and Statistics, 2007) and we take great pride in our ability to help achieve this and improve the standards of living for our members and their families.
For over 120 years the I.A.M.A.W has been fighting for worker’s rights earning the name “Fighting Machinists.” Currently we are over 800 members strong at the local level, and boast over half a million nationally and abroad, with a history and record that speaks for itself.
Now it is up to you to decide if you wish to stand up and demand your rights in the workplace…and have half a million “Fighting Machinists” at your back!!
